The name MACOR stands for a long tradition in ship and yacht equipment. The German MacGREGOR founded in 1951 became MACOR Marine GmbH in 1983. Since 2013, the company is part of the Heinrich Rönner Group under the name Macor Marine Solutions GmbH & Co. KG.
With the increase in international competition and the relocation of the merchant shipbuilding industry to the Asian region, the formerly broad service portfolio increasingly reduced. Eventually, only the naval, special and yacht shipbuilding sectors remained. Due to inconsistencies in the demand for supplies and the resulting discontinuity of the operational capacity utilisation in this area, a successful business in this constellation will unfortunately no longer be possible for us.
For this reason, the owners decided to suspend operations as of March 31th, 2021. All liabilities resulting from contracts with Macor Marine Solutions GmbH & Co. KG will remain effective.
From April 1st, 2021 onwards, our sister company EnPro Engineering- und Produktionsgesellschaft mbH will serve as your direct contact for support in the service area for current orders.
Any new inquiries should be addressed directly to EnPro Engineering- und Produktionsgesellschaft mbH, as it will additionally cover parts of our former service portfolio.
EnPro Engineering- und Produktionsgesellschaft mbH takes over the following services of Macor Marine Solutions GmbH & Co. KG:
- Contact person for existing contracts
- Offer and implementation of new building components and systems based on the data archive / inventory (developments and constructions) of the brand MACOR
- After Sales Service of all delivered parts, components and systems supplied by the brand MACOR.
