Stahlbau Nord repairs sailing ship "Alex II" after collision with a floating crane

As the press has reported in recent days, the "Alexander von Humboldt II" had a minor accident in Bremerhaven's Kaiserhafen.

After the Maritime Days, the "Alex II" collided with her yards against the anchor piles of a floating crane while sailing out.

Stahlbau Nord, the sister company of BVT Bremen - the former shipyard of the sailing ship - is pleased to be able to repair the damage at their lune hall and help get the "Alex" back underway quickly.
