SET celebrates the launch of the 2nd HADAG ferry in Tangermünde
On June 21, the time had come - the second of three hybrid-powered ferries for Hamburg's ferry fleet celebrated its launch.
HADAG CEO Martin Lobmeyer is delighted: "With the second ship, we are continuing our mission to make public transport in Hamburg more environmentally friendly and efficient."
In the coming weeks, intensive functional tests and concrete preparations for operation are on the agenda. This includes the installation and testing of all safety-relevant components as well as the gradual commissioning of the technical systems.
The launch of the third ship is planned for August 26, 2024, so that all three ships can enter service in Hamburg at the end of the year.
