BREDO DRY DOCKS welcomes new floating dock from Norway

With the floating dock acquired from the shipyard AAS MEK VERKSTED AS in Vestnes/Norway, BREDO is also gearing up for the smaller ship segment in the future.

The dock has a lifting capacity of 3,500 tons and a length of 104 meters. It has now arrived at its new home in Bremerhaven in tow of the tug FAIRPLAY 37.

Docked in Dock 4, the new dock replaces a BREDO DRY DOCKS dock of the same size, which no longer meets the requirements of the market due to its smaller width and technology. Most recently, the refurbishment of the lightship ELBE 3 was carried out in this dock.
